End of School!

The end of the school year is always crazy with lots of things going on. The boys started bringing home their art projects and it was so fun to see that they had created during art this year!
Carson received his letter for wrestling. He is excited to add another pin to his football one! There were 13 freshman that lettered in during the winter and spring sports.
The school fun day was the second to last day of school. I was fortunate to be able to help out again this year. I was asked to help do the obstacle course this year and recruited my friends Amber Felkins and Dani Weber to help me out. We were worried it was going to rain the day fun day was supposed to be, so we planned out our obstacles to be things that we could take inside if we needed to. The weather was iffy that morning, and it even rained for a bit, but we held on strong and stayed outside and it ended up being a pretty nice day!
The theme this year was 'We're going on a Lion hunt,' so we decided to dress up liek we were going on a safari. I'm not sure the kids knew what we were because I got asked a few times why I was dressed like a cowboy.
School got out on May 27th and the boys were definitly ready for it to be done! It's crazy to see how much they have changed during the school year!
The last day of school at the high school is a reward day which means that if you have 3 or less tardies in a class, you don't have to attend that class on the last day. Carson didn't have to go to any clasees, but decided to go to Spanish and do some extra credit to try and get his grade up to an A (he had an 89 and needed a 90 to get an A). He went in for about 30 minutes, did his video project and ended up getting a good enough grade to get his grade up to an A. He ended the year with only one B. I am super proud of him for working hard to get good grades! The middle school had a dodgeball tournament and Travis was on a team with his friends and a couple of 7th grade friends. They had a blast throwing dodgeballs at teachers and the police men! He also had a great year and did very well! They also got yearbooks and got to have their friend and teachers sign them. Mr. Durtsche, Travis's favorite teacher, left him a nice little not in the back of his yearbook that had us all laughing!

The story behind this note: One day in class, Travis was reading a book that he was really into...he was so into it, and totally forgot he was in class, that he lifted his leg and let out a loud fart! His teacher, jokingly, asked him if he needed to go check his pants after a a fart like that! The elementary school had an assembly and then found our who their teachers will be for next year. Landon will have Mrs. O'Tremba and is quite excited. He worked really hard this year and grew leaps and bounds! We are excited for summer break and enjoying the nice weather!
