Weaning calves

Last weekend, we went into Dry Head to help grandpa Asay wean his calves. It was a beautiful day and things went really well. Christian and the boys went in early and I rode in later with Michael. We arrived just as they were brining in the first group. Christian, Carson and Travis rode all day and Landon had to take a turn not riding once (which he was mad about).

We cooked burgers for lunch for everyone.

Travis had a slight wardrobe malfunction. He forgot these pants had a rip in the crotch area when he put them on in the morning. It didn't take very long for that little rip to get bigger and bigger! On the positive side, he said it was lots easier to get up on his horse, Rupert, with a giant tear in this pants!
