This week has been a fun week for Carson and Travis. The theme for homecoming week this year was Expect the unexpected and they had some fun dress up days and activities for the students. Things were tamed way down this year with COVID, but Carson still had a blast!
Monday was 'Merica Monday:
Tuesday was Class Color day. How we ended up with the two girl colors I don't know, but we were able to make it work and they looked good!
That evening was the Pep Assembly. Normally, the community is invited to attend, but in order for the students to social distance, they closed it to students and staff only and broadcasted it online so families could watch. Carson was asked to be part of the freshman Buff Puff volleyball team. The freshman ended up taking second, only loosing to the Seniors. One of my friends is the cheer coach and sent me some pics from the buff puff volleyball game.

Wednesday was Road Trip day at the high school (Freshman had Florida) and tacky tourist day! I think they nailed it.
Thursday was Favorite Movie Character Day. Carson was Indiana Jones and Travis was Napoleon Dynamite.
Friday we had not school, but the boys still wore their blue and white to the football game. Usually, there is a dance after the football game, but this year they did fireworks (which were really good) for everyone and then the students got to watch an outdoor movie.
