Well, another Halloween is in the books. We had a fun-filled and busy Halloween again this year. Landon had his Halloween party at preschool the week before. They got to dress up in their costumes and got to have yummy treats.

Halloween day started with helping Travis' class carve pumpkins. Landon went and played with Britt so I could help out. Each kid got their own pumpkin and got to pick how they wanted to carve them. I had a group of 4 kids that all worked by themselves really well! Travis carved a pretty darn good football all by himself!
We went home long enough to have some lunch and then went back to the school to watch the costume parade. They were going to hold it outdoors this year, but because of the wind, they moved it back into the gym on the stage.![]() |

| Travis didn't break out any dance moves for us this year. |
| Carson as a mad scientist. I had dropped off a bag with the rest of his costume, but it didn't get given to him. |
| We did get a little dancing out of Carson. |
Carson's class had races to see how many candy corns each team could get into a bucket using popsicle sticks in their mouths and then had a wiches brew (a candy mix).
As soon as school was done, we walked over to grandma Dorothy's house and trick or treated Grandma Asay. When we were done there, we headed home and got all ready.
Landon: The ninja!
Travis: The football player (for like the 3rd year...I tell ya, those football pads and pants were a great investment!

Carson: The mad scientist
I wasn't really sure how this one was going to come together when we told me that's what he wanted to be, but I loved it!
Around 4:30, we headed to Cowley to visit Grandpa Monk, only to find that he wasn't home. We then made our way to pick up pizza for dinner and then over to the trunk or treat at the church. This year they had three wards participate and it turned out really well. The boys ended up with tons of candy!![]() |
