Carson was featured in the newspaper last week for being a peer mediator. At the end of last year, they had to fill out a questioner about becoming one and then go through an interview before they were chosen to be a peer mediator. He also had to go through some training right before school started so that they knew what to do in situations where a peer mediator might be needed. He has to wear his blue peer mediator shirt out to every recess so that they can be identified by their peers as someone that can help. I think he's only had to help in one situation and it involved a football game at school (they are pretty serious about their football!). I'm proud of him for trying something new and being involved. He is a great example of a peace-keeper and someone who is always kind to others!

This will be such a great life skill for him!! You have a great kid!
