Sunday morning, we slept in a little and then drove up to Logan to spend the night with Megan. We visited for a while and then ate some dinner. After dinner, we went for a walk through the Logan River trail. It was a fun walk by the water through all the trees.

Checking out the river along the way.
After we got back, we watched some Star Wars before it was time for bed! Monday, we got up and headed out around 8 and drove back to Salt Lake to go to the zoo. We got there shortly after it opened and were done in about 3 hours. There weren't a ton of people there, so we were able to see everything as we pleased. We timed it just right so that as we were finishing our lunch and getting ready to leave, it started to pour!

At the bird show. It was a really neat show and the birds seriously were like inches above our head when they flew!
|
One of the gorillas.
We happened to show up just as they were talking about the elephants and getting them to do tricks!
We had originally planned to just take the whole day at the zoo, so when we were done at 1, we were trying to figure what else to do. We decided to head to temple square and walk around. Christian had never been before and it had been a couple of years since I had taken the boys.

In one of the visitor centers, they had scripture stories to watch.

After we had seen everything we wanted at temple square and gone to deseret book store, we drove to our hotel for the night. We had Texas Roadhouse for dinner, lounged and the kids swam.

We thought this sign was funny. It was located at the entrance to the swimming pool.
