The weekend.

We haven't been up to too much lately. We have been able to enjoy some really  nice Spring weather...finally! It's supposed to be even nicer this week and even make it up to 70 degrees one day!

Christian's grandma Asay was able to sell her house, so this week we were in and out visiting her and Christian's aunt (Sylvia) and uncles (Gaylen, Clark, Eric and Bruce and cousin Spencer) while they were here helping go through her stuff and  moving out everything for the new owners to start moving in today.

Friday night, we went and visited and looked at some old slides with a projector. It was so fun to see Stan and his family when they were younger and to hear the stories behind the pictures. We enjoyed some pistachio ice cream too that night!

Saturday was the big move out. Everything had finally been decided on where it was going so they were able to move it all. Christian and Travis went over around 8 and started helping take loads to a storage unit. Carson stayed to help me get things ready to take lunch over for everyone. We joined them around noon. Travis was in heaven (he's our little hoarder) and got himself some great treasures from great grandma Asay. We were able to get some old books that belonged to Christian's grandpa, a couple of folding tables and lots of folding chairs and some other odds and ends. It will be so strange to not have here living here any more, even though she has been living with her daughter in Washington for a while already. We will sure miss getting to see her.
We set up the ipad so the three 2 year olds could watch a movie and so Emily and I could try to help do something.

Carson and Stetson played checkers and chess for a large part of the day. Christian's cousin, Spencer (who is 18), would play with them when there wasn't any moving to be done. They thought he was the coolest!
After a long day of moving, we enjoyed Saturday evening by making a fire in the fire pit. We roasted hot dogs for dinner and then just enjoyed the rest of the nice day.
