Christmas Eve

We had a very busy Christmas Eve this year, which is a good thing so that the boys are occupied and the day goes by fast! We started the day by going to my dad's store for lunch that is put on for the the employees and their families. We enjoyed pulled pork sandwiches and salads. It was yummy!
Our group for lunch!
After lunch and a trip to check out the building of my parent's new house, we went back to my mom's to make some gingerbread men while Christian was away ice fishing.
Decorating away.

Auntie Butts helped Landon with his.

Travis and Jabin worked together to create a football gingerbread man.

Aren't they the cutest?

Silly Landon!

Grandma Foulger read the boys a book before we headed home.
On our way home, we saw a huge snowman in someone's yard so the boys thought it would be fun to try and build one themselves while Landon had a nap. Our snow wasn't wet enough, so they mostly just played in it.

In the evening, we went to grandpa and grandma Asay's house to have the traditional gnocchies. They were delicious as usual.

We had smaller numbers this year, so we had some different jobs. This year, Charlene, Jared and I rolled the gnocchies, but half way through I had to roll them out. Christian had is usual job of cooking them.

a steamy picture of them in the tomato sauce we put on them.

Grandpa Asay got a pomegranate ready for the boys to enjoy!
After dinner grandpa Asay read the Christmas story from the Bible and then we headed home to finish the night with our traditional Christmas Eve pajama opening. The boys were super excited to get to open one present!

All ready for bed!

Super cute little guys!!

Carson was helping get the plate ready for Santa and decided he needed a some egg nog to drink also. It made for a great milk mustache.
