Christmas 2013

Our Christmas morning started at about 8 when we had WAKE the kids up! I was so suprised when I woke up at 7:30 and no one was up yet.  The boys kept telling everyone that they were going to have to wait until 7 to get up, but I guess we did a good job of wearing them out the day before. We only woke them up because we were going to need to head out to grandpa and grandma Asay's house to skype with Jacob at around 9:30. We had a great morning and the boys seemed to be super happy with everything they got.
Our Christmas tree before presents were handed out.

The boys before the present opening chaos!

Playing with his new hope. He think it's great to stand on the couch and slam dunk it!
Landon opening a present.

Carson opening away.
This year, Santa got the boys each a set of chaps. Carson and Travis got some real ones and Landon's were just some fun ones we bought. A co-worker Christian had when we lived in Nebraska made the chaps for the boys and he did a great job! The boys loved them!!
Carson showing off his new chaps.

Watching Landon open a present.

Travis's turn to show his off

The "I am cool" pose.

Such a little stud!

Carson and Travis both asked for football pads. Santa was able to find them some cool bulldog ones!
Elder Asay was going to be on the computer at 9:30 to skype so as soon as we were done with our present opening, we hurried to get ready and headed out to grandpa and grandma's so we could visit with him. It was so fun to see and talk with him face to face. I love technology. He looked happy and was the same ole' funny Jacob we love! We got to talk with him for a little over an hour, which was great! The boys got to show him all their cool toys they got for Christmas.
Landon saying hello!

Everyone saying goodbye to Elder Asay.
After talking to Jacob, we got to open round two of presents and then started to get lunch ready. After a little bit, Daniel and Kasi and family and Michael and Emily and family showed up and we did presents again. After they were done, we had lunch with everyone and sat and visited for a while with everyone. After a bit we had to take off to Powell for dinner.
Christian got a can of dried milk from the cow bobbi. Bobbi was the cow he used to milk growing up!
The two bigger boys bot legos and a cool sweatshirt from grandpa and grandma Asay and Landon got a little sweat suite and a magna doodle. They also got the movie Despicable Me 2 to share.

The other half of the crew showed up later and we got to watch them open presents too.
We got to grandpa and grandma Foulger's house and got to open presents again! I tell ya, we are super spoiled! This year, it was our family and my sister and her husband, and my mom and dad. After presents, we played with toys for a while and then got dinner ready. After dinner we played one of the boy's new game and then the adults played cards for a bit before we had ice cream and then headed home.
Handing out presents at grandpa and grandma Foulgers.

Landon "huffing" his blanket while he watched everyone else open presents. He still loves his blanket, but now, the smell of it seems to be the most comforting to him. Luckily it doesn't get too stinky!

Travis and the football he got from Aunt Megan and Uncle Jabin.

Carson and Travis both got these cool bows that they have had fun shooting. First time Carson shot one, it ended up on the roof. Not too longer...one landed in the middle of the frozen pool!

Grandma and some of her presents.

Landon loving his new horse trailer, truck and horses. I love the cheesy smile he has just started to do! Melts my heart!!

Playing with new toys.

Landon's big present was a ride on bull from grandpa and grandma Foulger. He was so excited...

...that he didn't even wait for it to be put together to ride on it!

The two bigger boys got cool electric scooters to ride!
Christian and a saw table to use downstairs while we are finishing the basement. He has the best  smile in the world!!
I am so thankful for the wonderful family that we have and that we are close and get to spend time with them. It might make things crazy, but we love them all and wouldn't change a thing! We are grateful for this time of year and celebrating the birth of our Savior.
