This weekend was full of partying with family. It all started Saturday morning when we went to the Cowley's Days Parade. The boys got tons of candy and enjoyed watching the floats with Grandma Asay and Jared and Jacob. After the parade, we went home, Christian mowed the lawn and then headed fishing with his brothers up in the Shell Canyon for the afternoon. That evening, we had a family dinner at Asay's. They cooked a huge prime rib and a ham that were both yummy! For dessert, we made triple fruit ice cream and blueberry frozen yogurt.

The boys wanted to go fishing with Christian earlier in the day, so he promised them he would take them fishing at Grandpa's pond. Uncle Matthew was the only one to catch anything and it was a craw dad.

These four little guys were so cute! They wanted to help make the ice cream. Carson did most of the cranking in the group, but the others were good supervisors!

Uncle Daniel actually did most of the cranking and did a good job! The ice cream tasted wonderful!

Sunday, was a busy day. We started by attending church in Daniel and Kasi's ward where they blessed baby Paige. After the blessing, we did some quick family pictures. We were all together and probably won't be again for at least two years! After pictures, we went to Sacrament meeting in my in-laws ward where uncle Jacob was giving his "farewell" talk. He was one of 5 missionaries talking that day in the wards in our building, so there was lots of support from friends and the community! Jacob gave a great talk and is going to be a great missionary and we will miss him like crazy! After church, we had naps and then went back to grandma and grandpa Asay's house for dinner with lots of family. The boys were excited to get to be with their cousins, Stetson and Kandace, who they have missed since they moved.
