Day at the Lake

Yesterday, Christian took a day off work so we could spend some time at the lake. It seems like every Saturday we have this summer is filled with some sort of activity, so this was the perfect chance to get out on the boat. We loaded up our cooler with drinks and treats, picked up some fried chicken (a definite "have to" with my boys when we are boating) from the grocery store, and headed out. The lake water was the best we had seen it this summer and we pretty much had the lake to ourselves! It was perfect. After some lunch and swimming off the back of the boat, Carson decided to tube. The water was so nice, that Christian made him stop so he could ski. After he couldn't do it any longer, we let the kids play for a little bit more and then Carson knee boarded. Travis tubed and Landon tubed with Christian. We convinced, well more like bribed him with a dollar,Carson to try water skiing. After about 6 tries, he got up! He was so excited and so were we! The grin on his face was priceless! I don't think I learned how to ski that little. He's going to be a stud skier! After a little more playing, we headed back home. It was a great afternoon with our little family!

Landon had so much fun playing in the tube while his brothers were playing in the water. He thought it was super funny to play peek-a-boo.
