*Warning...picture overload ahead!!
Yesterday, we got to help Grandpa Asay move his cows to their summer pasture in Dry Head. We always look forward to this every year. This year, Carson and Travis got to get up early...like 4:30 am early, and ride with the big guys. Landon and I rode up with Grandpa and Grandma Asay, along with Emily and her kids, a little later in the morning. It was a super hot day and we all got a little sun. Carson and Travis did awesome riding this year. Carson rode by himself the whole time and Travis rode by himself most of the time. I have some good cowboys on my hands! Landon took turns riding with Christian on the horse, with me on the 4 wheeler, and in the car.

Shortly after we caught up with everyone, we stopped to the cows rest and eat a bit while we did the same. Grandma Asay had made some breakfast burritos, so we enjoyed them and some capri suns to drink.
 |
| As we stopped, this little guy decided to try and head back. |

 |
| Ready to go. Travis was a little nervous this night before when we told him that he was going to ride by himself. You wouldn't have known he was nervous the night before because he rode like a champ. |

The next time we stopped was at an area called Dead Man. They let the cows and horses get a quick drink and then it was off again. The kids had lots of fun playing in the trees and little creek that was there.

| Cowboy Travis. Grandpa Asay bought a new kids saddle and Travis had been so excited to get to be the first one to use it. He was convinced that Grandpa bought it especially for him. |

| Jared, Travis, Carson and rodeo Queen Emily...that's what she told Travis she was. |
 |
| Travis' face describes how he felt most of the day! He loves getting to ride horses with his uncles! He is in HEAVEN! |
Once we got the cows through the gate in the fence, we stopped for a bit to eat some sandwiches and let the cows rest again. Grandpa and Grandma gave the little kids some rides on the horses.
 |
| Landon taking a turn on the horse. Out of all his options for modes of transportation, his favorite was by far the horse. He would throw quite a fit if he didn't get to ride when he wanted to. |

| What a beautiful area! |
Emily and I drove the suburban up to where we end for the day. Once we got there, the boys watered the horses and then we enjoyed some watermelon and drinks. We usually cook burgers and dogs, but none of us were too hungry. The watermelon definitely hit the spot!
