Update!

As the school year is ending, we have found ourselves super busy and it's time to get caught up! So here is what we have been up to lately!

Carson got to mark an item off his bucket list when he came home from school one day  having lost another tooth! He always wanted to loose a tooth at school so he could put it in tooth case necklace!

Last Thursday, Christian's brother Jacob graduated from high school. It's crazy to think that there aren't any more of them to graduate and Carson will be the next Asay boy to do it!
Jacob giving me a giant cheesy grin! He wasn't at all excited about the night!
Congrats to Jacob!
Jacob has already got his mission call and wrote it on the top of his hat. He has been such a good example to my boys!
The boys and I made a Summer bucket list with some things that we wanted to do this summer before they had to start school. I think it looks like a great list and we will have a fun summer.
Their faces crack me up. I made them stand facing the sun one afternoon to take a picture of our list.

We got to go pick asparagus one evening as a family out on Grandpa Asay's farm. We managed to find 21 pieces of asparagus to have for dinner this week! YUM!
The boys looking for some asparagus.
Found one!

Carson and Travis looking out the window to try and find it along the ditch bank.

Carson was our official asparagus counter.
The boys love when Christian mows the lawn because he lets them ride with him. It never fails that one of them ends up falling asleep while riding. This time, it was Travis!
We were finally able to get our garden in over the weekend. It took us a series of days to do it, but it's done! This is our first year planting one here, so it's kind of a trial and error year. We are crossing our fingers that it turns out good!
After some work to get the tiller running, Christian was able to till the garden.
Landon really wanted to help with it!

Then we used some scrap wood that was at our house to put a border around it.

Christian put out a bunch of manure, too!
Before we planted, Christian put on his "booster pack" , as we called it, and sprayed the weeds  to try and kill them. We ended up not planting until the next day.

Yesterday was Carson's first coach pitch baseball game. He loved every minute of it. He got to play left field and catcher and had two home runs...which he was pretty proud of!
Getting all his gear on!
All ready to go!
Up at bat! He looks so little in his HUGE shirt and pants!
And a hit!

Grandpa and Grandma Foulger came to watch. Carson had some really good cheerleaders!
He was all smiles as he ran home for his first home run!

One day for story time, Travis got to make a bird feeder that he was pretty proud of. He was so excited to get to hang it up on the tree when we got home. He would go and check on it about every hour to see if any birds had eaten it. We found that the birds didn't eat it, but the ants loved it! We decided it would be better to throw it away rather than attract ants!
