Lovell's Days

This last week had been full of activities and fun things for Lovell's Days. We definitely did as much as week could fit into our schedule! Monday, we enjoyed a concert and food truck at the high school practice field.
Tuesday, the boys had wrestling camp all day
Wednesday we attended the follies! It was fun to have them back this year after not having them last year with all the COVID craziness! Friday, we attended Christian's class reunion. His 20th reunion was supposed to be last year, but with COVID, they didn't have it. So, this year, they combined with the class of 2001 and held their reunions together. We had an adult only dinner Friday night. They served lunchroom chili and cinnamon rolls. They hired the actual lunch ladies from when they were in school to cook the meal and serve it! It was so fun! After dinner, there was a slide show and then they went and decorated their float for the parade. Nicole Hendershot and I decorated the All-Stars float while they did their class float.
Saturday started out with the parade. The forecast predicted rain most of the day, and it was spot on! The rain held off just until the parade started and then it poured! We were wet and chilly, but it was still a good parade. Christian rode on his class float and Travis and Landon rode on the Little League All-Stars float. Before the rain started...
Mikayla and I trying to stay dry!
After the parade Chrstian's class got together again for a family pot luck in the park. It was fun to visit with friends and catch up. Christian's grade has always been really close and are lots of fun. A lot of his close friends from high school live close and it's fun to get to see and associate with them often!
That night, we enjoyed the fireworks at the practice field. They were amazing and we had great seats with a bunch of our friends!
I am always grateful for those who put so much time into Lovell's Days each year. It is the week we look forward to every summer! We love all the activities and all the friends and family we get to see!
