Easter break 2021
We had a beautiful Easter break. The kids were out of school half day Wednesday and go back on Tuesday. We were still in quarantine Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, we decided to spend our last day in quarantine dying eggs. That evening when Christian got home, we went out and walked some trees for sheds, but didn't find any. We did find a porcupine and had fun watching him climp a tree to safety.
Friday was our first day out of quarantine and it was so nice to be able to be out and about again! We went over to Powell to run some errands, had celebratory quarantine's over lunch at El Tap and hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Foulger.
Saturday, we made breakfast and then headed out to the May Farm to look for sheds. It was a beautiful day (in the mid 70's) and we all managed to get a little sun on our faces and necks! We found 4 deer sheds and 3 antelope sheds while we were looking for them.
That evening, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Asay's house for a picnic and Easter Egg hunt with all the cousins. We had hot dogs for dinner and then the adults hid almost 600 eggs (594 to be exact) for the kids. They had a blast collecting eggs and looking to see what was in them.
Grandma Asay staggered the kids by age when she let them go out to start looking for eggs. The big kids had to wait until the end.
We did an updated picture of all the grandkids. It's fun to see them grow and change!
Sunday was Easter and General Conference. General Conference was beautiful this year with so many speakers from different countries and music sung in different languages. I always love the messages from our prophet and other leaders. How grateful I am for them and their messages and for my Savior and his resurrection!
The boys were able to find their baskets: Landon under the table, Travis behind the trash and Carson in the pantry.
They all got something they could do during Conference in their baskets.
After conference, we went over to Powell for Easter dinner.
It was also my grandma's birthday, so we had cake for dessert to celebrate her birthday!
