We had a great time at our annual Labor camping trip near Jackson Hole. We left Friday night around 6. We had to wait until Carson got done with football practice before we could leave, so we didn't get to Jackson until almost 11. We got our camper set up with the help of grandpa Foulger and Brett Whitlock, and Jabin and made our way to bed! Saturday, the boys were up bright and early (6:30)...maybe it's because it was also Travis's birthday! We helped grandma Foulger make breakfast for everyone.
After breakfast, Travis opened up his gifts. He got a box full of paracord and supplies to make keychains and bracelets, some beats head phones and a new pair of slides from grandma and grandpa.
We gave him a new outfit, water shoes, an airsoft gun and a new minnow net. I loved all his excited and surprised faces when he would open up his gifts.

After opening up gifts, we cleaned up breakfast, they kid went on bike rides and then we headed down to the lake for a few hours. The boys had a blast kayaking and playing in the water...the rest of us enjoyed sitting on the beach soaking up the sunshine! It was beautiful!!

After a couple of hours down at the lake, we headed back to the campers, showered and got ready to head into Jackson for dinner at Merry Piglets. This year, we ate and then headed back to the campers...no shopping. We did stop and look at the Potholes (which were really lame...just holes in the ground) and take a pic in front of the Tetons on our way back.

| Waiting to get into dinner. |

| Our favorite...queso! |
 |
| They brought the birthday boy out a special dessert and we all sang to him! |
 |
| There are all sorts of weird paintings of pigs in the restaurant. |
We got back to the campers and had birthday cupcakes and played a few rounds of telestrations. Landon ended up throwing up, so he and Christian wen back early. Something he had must have not agreed with him because he was fine in the morning!
Sunday, we got up and had a big breakfast with everyone and then headed back down to the lake for the day. It was once again a beautiful day!
 |
| The boys love to use the kayaks as paddle boards also. I guess we need to get a paddle board next! |
 |
| Travis brought his remote control boat to drive at the lake. |
 |
| Landon and Jabin having deep conversations on the kayak. |
 |
| Carson and Christian. |
 |
| Hanging out with baby Butts! |
While we were sitting on the beach, the men came up with a friendly competition. They set up three different sized buckets full of water near the shore line and sat and threw rocks at the buckets to see if they could throw them into the buckets and get points. Who would have thought rocks and buckets could provide so much fun! I believe Christian ended up being the winner when it was all said and done.

 |
| If you thought you made it in the bucket, you had to get up and dump it out to show the group. |

| The beach goers. |
After a few hours on the beach, we headed back to the campers and got foil dinners ready to take down to the fire pits for dinner.

| Dinner time! |
After dinner, we headed back, showered and then played some more telestrations before heading to bed. We got Monday and got our camper and both Whitlock campers loaded up and ready to hit the road. Grandpa and Grandma Foulger, and Megan and Jabin were staying another night. We drove down to Leek's Marina for pizza and then got on the road to head home.

Our whole group! A woman offered to take our picture and her husband was standing behind her waving and flipping the bird giving everyone some great smiles!

Since it was dark when we came through the Park on Friday, we stopped at West Thumb and walked around there. It's always fun see all the different hot pools around. We got home early evening and unloadeed everything from the camper. We had such a great time and did some fun things. We were sad that we didn't make it on a hike or try to catch chipmonks...hopefully next time!
