Tuesday night was our ward pinewood derby. Travis has known for quite a while that he wanted his car to look like our boat. We were able to get most of it done before we left on vacation. Christian put the wheels on Tuesday morning before he left for work and Travis and I got it weighted just right at the weigh-ins.
They did a round robin to start the derby and then put everyone into a single elimination bracket. Travis lost his first race of the bracket and was done. Overall, he had a great time and is already talking about what he's going to do next year for his car.
