Party time!

We celebrated Landon's birthday all day long yesterday. He stared the day with our traditional birthday breakfast of number (of birthday) pancakes and opening a new shirt.

I met up with Landon for lunch at school with him. We enjoyed lunch together with two of his friends and their mom's who were having lunch with their kids too.

After their last recess, Landon got to pass our birthday treats for his class. We wanted to have rootbeer floats, so that's what we had. His class got to play heads up 7-up when they were finished with their snack. Watching kindergarteners play this game is quite interesting!

Landon opted to have all of his family around for a party. We went super easy this year and had pizza, chips and salad for dinner
Landon thought it would be a good idea to eat his pizza with a gummy worm on it.

It was really difficult to get him to say what he wanted for his birthday this year. I had no good ideas for him either. He ended up telling me that he wanted a basketball (since, you know, we don't have 5 already and we definitely don't have a place to play with one) and "nice school clothes" (I'm not really sure what he thinks he wears to school every day...). He got a scooter, art supplies, magformers, legos (that he can't wait to put together), and lots of money. He gets to go on a date with grandma Foulger to go shopping with the money they gave him and out to dinner too!

Landon didn't want a cake this year, but decided he just wanted ice cream. We ended up having banana splits!
