Lost tooth!

So, about 3 weeks ago, we were at Grandma Asay's house in the kitchen when Landon accidentally fell off a kitchen stool. His poor mouth caught the brunt of the force and he ended up with a VERY wiggly front tooth (that we probably could have pulled out that day). We had hoped that if we left it alone, that it would firm up in the gums and be just fine. Well, fast forward to last Friday...we were eating lunch at our house and Landon was enjoying his favorite lunch...a hot dog. He bit down on a piece of the hot dog (or fork...I'm not sure) and it knocked the same tooth sending it backwards in his mouth. After examining it, it was clear that it wasn't going to recover from this blow. I grabbed a paper towel (not my idea of fun...the thought of pulling out a tooth made me queasy), grabbed on to the tooth, and it came right out. I didn't even have to pull on it! Landon was SO excited about loosing his first tooth! That night, the boys spent the night at Grandma Foulger's house while we went to the temple. Landon decided he wanted to take his tooth with him so the tooth fairy could come visit. Grandma even helped him write a note asking her to leave it so he could show more people! He woke up in the morning to find that the tooth fairy had visited and given him a dollar and some gum. Lucky boy! We love his new toothless smile!
