Taking shape

After a year hiatus, we started working on our basement again. We spent the last three nights framing in a bathroom, laundry room, big ol'closet/storage room, and room where our furnace and such is. We ran out of studs last night around 8 so, we didn't get to frame in the bedroom closets...the last thing we have to frame in. It has been so exciting to see the basement take some shape and think that it will be just a few more months until it is all done! It's looking like the sheet rocker/taper/texture guy will be here in a couple of months so that will give us ample amount of time to finish the wiring, plumbing and putting in a sound system! YAY for progress! We are planning to try and finish up the framing Monday and Tuesday evening!

For the first part of the week, this is how we spent most of our time...sick. Travis has been sick off and on for over a week now. It started with a yucky cough then added a low grade fever for several days and then woke up this morning with some tummy troubles. Landon started a few days ago with the cough had a fever Friday and now has a runny nose and eyes! I'm just hoping that no one else gets it! Here's to healthier days!
