Dusty cattle drive

Saturday, we got to help bring the rest of Grandpa Asay's herd home from their summer pasture. Carson and Travis left early with Christian, Grandpa Asay and Matthew and rode the entire day. It's a several hour/mile ride and they did great! They were a little sore the next day, but didn't complain about it. They left around 6:30 and we (grandma Asay, Charlene and kids and Landon and I) met up with them later in the morning and drove behind the herd. As you go through the pictures, you will see just how dusty it was! There is a lot of soft soil making for lots of dust!
This picture give you an idea of how much dust their was!
Most of our group. We were just missing Ian, who was in the car.
Grandma Asay doing a good job! Carson said this was one of his favorite rides because he got to see Grandpa AND Grandma Asay both ride...something he's never seen!
We stopped and ate some sandwiches for lunch part way through and enjoyed the nice day!

Carson, Grandma Asay, Travis, Chloe, Charlene, Ian, Matthew, and Grandpa Asay.

This little guy longed to be on the horses with his dad and brothers! He got to ride with grandpa and his dad a few times, but I'm sure if we were to ask him it wasn't a suffient amount!
