We haven't been up to too many exciting things lately. It's been cold and snowy making it so we didn't want to venture out very often. Here are some of the things that have gone of recently.
Landon finally got to have his crib turned into a big boy bed. He has been doing great in it and hasn't fallen out or gotten out of it until he wakes up!
One Saturday, Christian went with a group of guys up to buffalo Bill reserviour to do some ice fishing. They left lovell at 6 am and didn't start catching anything until noon and didn't get home until 8 that evening. They were able to catch quite a few once the fish decided to start biting!

We have loved having the Olympics to watch nightly. My boys have especially loved it and are always performing what they have watched on tv that night. We have had snowboarders, ice skaters and bobsledders. They have been practicing their bobsledding lots and finally got to watch some last night and were so excited! I love their imaginations and watching them play together.

| We had an olympic inspired dinner the night the Olympics started. Our pizza was supposed to look like the Olympic rings made out of olives, pepperonis, pineapple, green peppers and blue cheese. We also had torches made out of cheetohs and reeces butter cups as dessert. It was a fun little dinner and the boys really enjoyed it. |
We had a great Valentine's day. Thursday, Kasi had us over to decorate cookies at her house. They were yummy and the kids had fun playing.

For Valentine's day, I sent Carson a balloon with candy to school and he was quite surprised to get it! I thought it would be a fun surprise for him. The two younger ones were supposed to get balloons sent to them at home, but we have yet to receive them... That night, grandpa and grandma Asay offered to watch the grandkids so we could go out. Christian and I ran to Powell and had some El Tap while the boys stayed at grandma's and had dinner and decorated cookies.

| Here is the Valentine box Carson did (pretty much on his own, I might add). He said there were 4 other minion boxes in his class. |

Grandma and grandpa Foulger were out of town for Valentine's day, but made sure to leave the boys each a bag full of Valentines. They loved the goodies and playdough with cookie cutters to make shapes with.

Towards the end of the week, the weather really warmed up and started to melt the snow that we have. Travis, Landon and I decided the snow was just perfect for making a snowman. We had a hard time getting all his parts to stay in the snow, but by today, all that is left of him is the base so it didn't really matter.
 |
| Travis had a Valentine party earlier in the day and came home with his plate of goodies from their treats so we used the grapes that he had left for the mouth. |

Saturday, we spent our day at grandpa and grandma Asay's house. Matthew and Charlene were in town for the day so we hung out and visited with them. They guys and kids went and tagged calves after lunch and later went out and shot guns. Carson was happy to get to use his again. That night, we had a fish fry with the fish that Christian caught the weekend before with all the family that was around.

In other news, yesterday at church they re did the ward boundaries in Lovell. The wards were getting to be pretty lopsided, so after a year of working on it, they were able to redraw the boundaries. We will be staying in Lovell 2nd ward, but will loose a bunch of our current ward members (including our whole bishopbric) because we were the largest ward, but will be gaining some new friends. Carson was super excited to hear that his friend Jared Mangus was now going to be in our ward. There have been lots of mixed feelings about the new changes, but I know it's how the Lord wants it to be and we will all be blessed by the changes.
I love the Olympic themed pizza and the boys "bobsledding." If they took from your ward I doubt that my sister got put into yours! That would be funny!!
ReplyDeleteI love that they practice their Olympic sports. Too funny. Gotta start me young ;)
