Weekly update

Our summer is flying by...I can't believe it's the end of June already! Here is what we have been up to the last week:

Last Monday we helped Grandpa Asay move some cows. I didn't have my camera, but was able to take some pictures with my phone. It was so pretty out!
Carson and Jared helping push the cows through the gate.
Tuesday and Thursday, Carson had baseball games. Thursday was his last one (we are happy to have two nights a week freed up now). He had a great year and really learned and improved a lot. He had two great coaches this year that really helped him! He loved it and it was sure fun to watch him. He is already excited for next year!

Up to bat.

Rounding the bases on his triple!

Coming home with force!

Ready for action!

We had been planning all week to take the boat out Friday night because it was the only night we didn't have something going on. It ended up being really windy, so we didn't get to go out. We decided Saturday morning at about 9 that we were going to run out for a bit to see if everything was running good. It was only 63 degrees as we made our way out to the lake and actually kind of windy, but we did it anyways! We were able to find one pretty nice spot in the canyon where we were protected from the wind, the water was calm and the sun was shining on us. Carson was the only brave one and decided he wanted to tube. It was still fun to be out on the boat...even if we had goose bumps the majority of the time. After about an hour, we made our way back to the dock and went home.
First time out on the boat this year!
Fun times!
After playing in the morning, Grandpa and Grandma Foulger came over to help put together a play set the kids got for Christmas. It took us almost five hours to put together what we got done! Needless to say, the instructions were not great and none of the wood was labeled making for lots of headaches!
The beginning...we had no idea what we were in for!

The boys were great project supervisors!

Working away.
Christian finishing putting the last board on the roof. This completed our step one of the play set. Hopefully we will get the majority of the rest done this week!
