This cute little guy has turned 18 months in the last couple of days. At his Dr. appointment today, he weighed 23 pounds and 11 ounces and is 33 inches tall. We are super excited that he will now get to go to nursery in just over a week! He is ALL boy and never stops. He goes all the time and at 110% because he is trying to keep up with his older brothers. He's pretty good at throwing a temper tantrum from time to time. He loves animals. He can tell us what a cow, horse and snake say. He knows where his eyes, nose ears, tongue, teeth and toes are. His vocabulary is starting to take off and includes the words: mom, dad, no, hog gog (for hot dog), eye, shoe, bye, hi, go and signs more. I'm sure there are other things he says that I'm not remembering. When we leave our house and push the button to shut the garage door, he always chants "go, go, go' like he's trying to help it go all the way down. Anytime someone farts, he always yells "Dad!" Even if it isn't dad...but most of the time it is! He loves fruit snacks and cheese crackers. He's actually a great eater, but doesn't like milk...not even flavored milk! He's his older brother's shadows, and they are so good about letting him tag along with them when they are playing. We love this little guy to pieces! He's so fun to have in our family and we can't imagine it with out him!
We have been playing outside a lot lately because it has been SO nice. I took my camera out with me yesterday to snap some pictures of Travis and Landon playing.
He loves pop...like all my other boys!
He (and Travis) love to play in a dirt pile behind our house. They would dig and drive trucks forever, if we let them.
He loves to go down the slide, but will get his foot stuck some times and sit there and yell "Mom!"
The boys love to play with the sticks they find. Travis found one and not much longer, Landon had one too.
Playing in the dirt. I have called it sand a few times and Travis always corrects me and tells me it is dirt. His dad would be so proud!
Landon always says bye with a hand wave. He says bye with the cutest little accent!
*Travis and I got locked out of the house while Landon was inside. I went out in my pj's to throw some garbage away and left the other two inside. Travis decided to follow me out and shut the door (that hadn't been unlocked from the inside) behind him and we were locked out. He reassured me that we could just type the code in on the garage door opener and go through the garage, but when we got in there...we discovered that that door was locked too and we had no key hidden anywhere for any of our doors! I made my way over to the neighbors house where one of Christian's good friends from high school was visiting his parents and asked him to come help me. After failing to get the garage door, front door and sliding glass door open, and checking all the windows to see if any of them were open, he was able to slide a credit card in and open the front door. We were locked out for over 20 minutes. Landon was less than thrilled about being inside by himself for that long especially when he could see his mom and brother outside! We have learned that we need to unlock the doors when we go outside and need to hide a key somewhere so this doesn't happen again!
*Travis decided to try and get some underwear out of his top draw by climbing on the bottom drawer. Looks like things didn't go quite as he had expected! Luckily, nobody was hurt except his piggy bank who didn't make it!
Landon reminds me so much of Travis. Can't believe he is 18 months old. Yay for nursery. Man, I hate getting locked out my house :)
ReplyDeleteI laughed so hard at the part that he says "dad!" every time someone farts. That is too funny! Man, I miss those boys!
