Easter Weekend

We had a very enjoyable Easter weekend. Friday, after Christian got home from work and we ate dinner, the boys finally got to decorate eggs. They had been waiting all day to do it! Luckily, it was a really nice day and they were able to play outside to occupy themselves. After we decorated eggs, we frosted the cookies we had made earlier in the day. Saturday, Christian and I made a flying trip to Cody where we traded in our black car for a newer one and then went on to Billings to the temple. The boys stayed with grandpa and grandma Asay and had a blast.

Landon got to make some of his own eggs this year too. We put an egg in a wire whisk so he couldn't drop it. He had lots of fun stirring it around.
Silly boys.

Travis' finished product. He said he only did the boy colors...not girl ones!

Sunday, Travis was up right after seven and wanted to go find his basket. He was super excited to see what the Easter Bunny brought him. Carson woke up shortly after and off they went to look for their baskets. We went to church, took some quick pictures, had a light lunch and then took some naps. We headed to Powell to have dinner with just my mom and dad and then came back to Lovell and headed over to Asay's for a bit to see everyone and had some dessert.
Travis found his under the computer.
Carson found his behind the tv.

Carson went straight for the shiny egg that always seems to have money in it!

After church, the boys went out and tried to fly the kite grandpa and grandmas Asay gave them for Easter.
