Uncle Jared Returns!

My boys have been counting down the days until their uncle Jared returned home from his mission for our church in Africa. For the last couple of weeks, we talked about how many more days until he would be here! They were super excited when yesterday came, and we got to go and meet him when he got off the plane in Cody, Wy! In preparation, they each made a sign to hold up for him at the airport. They decorated the posters by themselves and made sure that we didn't forget them when we left! Elder Asay was due to arrived in Cody at 8:30, so we decided to head to Powell and hang out with grandpa and grandma Foulger for a while first. We headed to Cody around 7, walked around K-mart before they closed for the night and met up with Christian who was on his way home from Casper where he had meetings. We were so happy that he got to be there too. Originally, he wasn't supposed to come home until Thursday and was going to miss seeing Jared come in, but the meetings he was going to attend weren't what he was hoping for and decided to leave a day early! It was so fun to be at the airport and see Jared come home! He looks great (and a little tired from traveling for 36 hours)! He has been a great example to my boys and they are super excited to get get to talk to him some more and hear about his mission!

Here they are at the airport. While Jared was serving his mission for two years, he missed meeting 3 nephews and 1 niece. That's why Landon's says Hi...I'm Landon. This was their first meeting!

He's here!

Grandma got the first hugs (as she should).
Jared and his brothers and mom and dad.
Waiting around before Jared got here. Landon had fun running around!

Our family and Elder Asay.

The boys. We were just missing Matthew and his family!

Everyone waiting for the luggage to come in.

Elder Asay and some future Elder Asays! What good examples they have from their uncles!
