If you have ever read or watched anything with the Peanuts characters, you know that Charlie Brown has a friend named Linus who is always carrying around his blanket. Well, we have our very own Linus living at our house. Landon, a.k.a. Linus, can be seen toting around his blue sunshine blanket everywhere. It's definitely his security blanket! If it's in sight, he has to have it. In fact, one day he was down stairs with me while I was doing a load of laundry and saw me dump his beloved blanket in the washer to clean it (he had tried to clean up some milk he spilled on the floor with it) and threw a huge fit because he couldn't have it! Often, I will hear him yelling and will go looking for him and will find him standing in front of his crib, both arms through the bars of his crib trying to reach his blanket.

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie with his blankie. Ian is totally the same way with his stuffed beaver. I had to distract him to wash it the other day. Oh man did it need washed.
