Christmas break

Christmas break is officially over today as the kids went back to school. They had a great break, but we didn't get to do everything we wanted to do while they were out of school! It just went by too fast. Here are some of the things we did do:

The boys ended up staying the night at grandpa and grandma Foulger's house Christmas night. They brought them over the next afternoon and we went out shooting with them and uncle Jason. We had fun shooting some of the new guns people got. We just wish the wind hadn't been blowing!
The boys building a log house with some wood they found at Grandma Foulger's.

After shooting, Grandpa, Jason and Christian put in the new microwave I got for Christmas. Now my microwave and stove match!

Christian took Friday off and spent Friday and Saturday hunting pheasants all day. Landon ended up puking Friday morning, so they brought him home and we hung out.

Landon was feeling better Saturday, so he went out with them after lunch.

Sunday he puked again, so we cancelled our trip to Billings Monday and just stayed home and the boys put legos together and we watched movies.

Tuesday we went to Billings with Grandma Foulger to do some exchanges. They always goes too fast while we're in Billings, but we were able to get everything we had to get done, done.
Landon wanted his picture taken with the bear at Scheels.

We got home around 6 from Billings and rushed out to Grandma and Grandpa Asay's house for New Year's eve dinner. We were only there about 30 minutes when Landon got sick again, so I brought him home. Christian and the other two boys stayed for a while and hung out. I was able to get some oliebollen made while they were gone. They got back around 8 and the two older boys and I went to some friends house that we were invited to ring in the New Year. We ate and played games while the kids played on the Nintendo switch and hot tubbed. Sadly we didn't even take any pictures while we were partying.
Oliebollen all ready to sit over night.
New Years/Christian's birthday, we pretty relaxed. We cooked up our New Year's oliebollen for breakfast and enjoyed that tradition of ours. We didn't know how Landon was going to feel, so we didn't plan to do anything. We ended up cleaning out the garage...which was much needed, but not much fun. We celebrated Christian's birthday with cherry danishes for dessert.

Happy birthday, Christian!
We did manage to watch a movie just about every night and did lots of relaxing!
