Grandma Asay had her annual cousin party Tuesday and it did not disappoint! This year, she planned a carnival themed party. The day started with decorating shirts for pictures. After the shirts were complete, we had lunch. Grandma cooked corn dogs, fruit salad, veggie tray and chips. After lunch, while we were waiting for a couple more cousins to show up, the big kids started their scavenger hunt. They went all over the farm to find their clues. The younger kids started theirs a little later. They all found their treasure, two 50 cent pieces (one of them being from grandma Dorothy's collection) and some candy, upstairs.

After lunch, the kids got their shirts one so we could have pictures. They are a good lookin' group.

When pictures were over, the fun began. Grandma had a bunch of carnival games set up for the kids to rotate through. She gave them each a bag to put their prizes in and tickets to use to do the games with.

There was also ring toss, limbo and a fishing pond where they each got a big prize and several little prizes. Each sister-in-law was in charge of a different game. I was at the fish pond and then made snow cones for everyone for a treat.

The boys had a blast and this is something they look forward to every summer!
