May...so far

Cinco De Mayo was on a Sunday this year, so we threw a fiesta to celebrate and also to celebrate uncle Jason's birthday. Cassie ended up being sick, so it only ended up being us, Jason and grandpa and grandma Foulger. We enjoyed good food, music and company!

We had tacos, pork carnitas, all the fixings, homemade tortillas, Spanish rice, homemade chips and guacamole, churros and cake for dessert.

Grandma brought some fun props to take pics with.

Happy birthday, uncle Jason. Funny story...the boys were standing by Jason singing to him and when we were done, Landon looks at the candles and says, "You're really 82?" not realizing he was looking at the numbers backwards!

The elementary school had their art show. Landon took Carson and I around to see his and find their cousnin's art too. Travis had to sit with the sign-in book at the front as part of being in student council. When his time was up, he showed us his artwork also.
Landon chose to display his eggs and bunny pictures in the hallway.

Landon by his dancing giraffe. He didn't really want me to take his picture by it because he said it wasn't really that good, but I thought it was good.

Travis by his pupmpkin with a mustache and his snowman that he gave a certain (I'm not really sure what kind) hat from Harry Potter.

They had to create a new type of cereal and design the box cover for it. His were tocan oats.

As an assistant cub scout leader, we got to go to the fish hatchery for an activity. It was interesting and the boys loved getting the feed the fish. Landon isn't old enough for scouts, but he loves that he gets to come and join in on their fun!

We've been out a couple of times to find asparagus. Our last outing was quite successful and it's been so yummy to eat!

Travis has begun baseball. They had their opening ceremonies and games the next day. His game was the same day as conference track, so Christian stayed home and watched him. He pitched for a couple of innings and caught the other ones and had a double (one of only two hits in the whole game...both teams). It will be fun to watch him this year. Landon is playing too, but they have not started practices yet.
The Astros (they were missing 3 kids)
Hitting his double!

While we were still in Thermop for track, Travis got put to work digging out rows for irrigating. This boy seriously loves being outside and working!
