We packed as much in as possible the last two days of our vacation. On Friday, we decided to head back to the lagoon for the day. The kids, once again, had a blast snorkeling (grandpa and I even took them out into the ocean where the water feeds into the lagoon), paddle boarding and playing in the sand.
When we walked into the resort, there was a lady with a salmon crested cockatoo. She let the boys hold it if they wanted to. Carson was the only one that opted not to. It would lift it's wing up for the boys to scratch under.

Travis was quite the photographer during the trip. He loved getting the go pro and taking pictures of all the things he saw under the water! It was so fun to have a devise to take pictures and video in the water!

Saturday, we were torn about what to do. We had to fly out that night at 10, so we had all day to fill. The two younger boys wanted to go back to the lagoon or one of the other pools we hadn't been to yet. Carson wouldn't really say what he wanted to do, but finally said he wanted to do another day at the beach (and so did I). So, we decided to hit the beach for a few hours, get some lunch and then go to another pool at one of the other resorts where they had facilities for us to shower and get ready in before we had to catch our flight.
Everyone was sure happy that we decided to hit Hapuna beach again. The waves were lots bigger and prime for boogie boarding! The boys got rolled by some pretty good sized waves!

| Grandpa even caught some waves...and Carson (in the green shirt) got engulfed in some! |

We had lunch at one of the other resorts that day and then swam in their pools. They had a couple of slides that the kids had a blast going down. I bet we have 10 videos they took of themselves going down. They were quite entertaining!

| This one is by far my favorite slide video! |

Around 6, we were all showered and dressed, so we drove into Kona for dinner at KFC and to walk around until we had to go to the air port.
 |
| Landon fell asleep hard from all the playing he did. All 3 boys went 100 miles an hour the whole time! |

Our flights home went well and we got back to Lovell around 7. It made for a really long night and day of traveling, but it was so worth it to be able to go and spend time in Hawaii!
Such fun!! Maybe someday I'll have to get the resort info and attempt to go :)
