On the 4th of July, we got up and cooked breakfast and then decided to head out to the lake for a bit. We picked grandma Asay up on our way out. The water really wasn't that great the whole time we were there, but it didn't stop the boys from having fun. Carson and Travis each skied and knee boarded and then we stopped for some lunch.

After lunch we decided since it wasn't very nice out in the narrows where we usually go, we would head up the canyon to see if it was any calmer. We found a nice spot and Christian skied and then the boys each took some turns on the tube since the water didn't stay nice for long.

We got off the water just as a huge wind storm hit! The wind was super crazy and actually blew a power pole down causing us to be without power for about 45 minutes. Later in the evening, the wind stopped and we were able to enjoy dinner outside with grandpa and grandma Foulger and grandpa and grandma Asay. We had dessert and shot off a few fireworks. The boys were so excited to get to shoot off some parachute guys and try to catch them.

| While Landon was playing in the grass, he spotted and caught the tiniest frog! He was super excited about it but said he didn't want to pick it up because he didn't know if it was poisonous or not! |
