Mother's Day weekend, we got to have Butts and Jabin come and stay with us. They had planned to stay the weekend with our parents, but they ended up having to leave out of town at the last minute. Christian and I made a late trip to Cody Friday night to pick them up off their flight that landed at 11. Jacob was nice enough to come and stay with the boys while we were gone.
Saturday, we woke up, had breakfast and then got ready. We decided to head out to the hills to shoot guns. We picked some asparagus while we were out there to have with our lunch.

After shooting for a few hours, we headed back to the house for lunch. We cooked some brauts to have with our asparagus we picked earlier and sat outside and enjoyed the nice afternoon.
After the kids had naps, we decided to head bowling and have pizza with Jason and Cassie. We showed up at the bowling alley only to find that it was closed. We went with plan B: ordered pizza and then played cards at the house. We celebrated Jason's birthday with brownies and ice cream for dessert!
It was a great weekend with our family!
